TOT! Standard – how to attach parallel rails to the workbench

tutorials Description

Break off all 4 protrusions from the 40×40 angle bracket (which serve to center the angle bracket when used lengthwise on the groove of the profile) and, using a T-head screw and a nut with a collar, fasten the angle bracket tightly to the profile so that the bottom side of the angle bracket sits on the work table.

For repeated assembly and disassembly, it is ideal to use a screw with a metric thread to attach the angle bracket to the table, which you screw into the table top as in the video, by drilling a hole in the table top and cutting the corresponding thread in it, or using a self-tapping wood nut with internal metric thread. Due to several mounting options as well as different constructions of work tables, screws for anchoring the angle bracket are not supplied with angle brackets.
