Find the highest point of the board, for example, using a tape measure attached to the bottom edge of the cross frame. At this point, plunge the router (the router is still OFF) so that the router bit touches the wood and lock this plunge position. Go over the entire surface of the workpiece to make sure that you have determined the highest point correctly
Set the bottom edge of the router bit 1 mm under the highest spot of the slab.
Put on 20 mm sealing brushes and check if they overlap the slab edge in the range of 2 – 10mm.
Check the set RPM (set RPM = according to your router manufacturer’s recommendation for your router bit diameter)
Turn ON the router and go carefully over the whole slab surface.
