Freehand flattening

Freehand flattening

tutorials Description

This method of milling in the direction of the grain of the wood is especially suitable for smaller areas for quick work without the frequent need to adjust the position of the router carriage. For larger surfaces and larger material removals, we recommend using the control rod arrester with TOT! locking jig

More Information
If the router carriage is located above the workpiece, never change the direction of movement directly by 180°, but always first change the direction of movement by only 90° to the previous movement to change the inclination of the sealing brushes. You can then change the movement to the one you originally intended. The sealing brushes are hard and a sudden change of direction directly by 180° can lift the whole cart!
