Assembling the legs of TOT! flattening table

tutorials Description

Set the transverse profile of the table leg so that it exceeds the profile of the table leg by 50 mm and slide 2 pieces of M8 nuts for the T slot into its grooves. Attach the transverse profile to the leg using a 38×76 angle and 2 pcs M8x60 screws with spring washers, which you move through the holes in the table leg and screw into the nuts with M8 spring for the T slot. Check whether the upper part of the angle fits with the upper edge of the leg and tighten the screws firmly. Repeat the procedure on the other side of the transverse profile with the other leg, while the distance between the legs is equal to the length of the lower crossbar. With a 40×80 profile, the lower crossbar is 180mm shorter than the upper crossbar (for example, with a 1500mm crossbar, the lower crossbar is 1320mm long). Insert the bottom cross profile between the legs approximately 100mm from the bottom edge of the leg and fasten the partition to the leg on each side with 2 pieces of 40×40 angle brackets.

Screw the flange to the bottom of the legs and screw in the adjustable leg.

On the legs made in this way, place the longitudinal profile in the bottom groove of which insert 2 screws with a T-slot head in each place where the profile will be placed on the 38×76 angle, measure the distance so that the spacing between the legs is the same, check the squareness of all joints and attach the longitudinal profile to the legs using nuts with a collar that you screw onto screws with a T-slot head. Again check the distances and squareness of all profiles and tighten the collar nuts firmly.

Fasten the transverse profiles that do not form the legs of the table according to the procedure for assembling the self-supporting frame

After setting level the entire table with a laser level!

After folding the table, adjust the table legs so that the entire upper part of the table is level. Precise adjustment of the table plane can be achieved by rotating the adjustable table legs into the desired position so that the leveling laser shows the same distance over the entire table surface, while no table leg must be in the air.

More Information
To assemble each leg of TOT! flattening table you will need the following parts which are included in the delivery: 2 x T-slot nuts M8 with spring 1 x Bracket 38x76 2 x Screw M8x60 DIN 912 2 x Spring washer M8 - DIN 127B To installation of an adjustable leg (included in the delivery): 1 x Threaded flange 2 x Screw M8x20 DIN 7984 1 x Adjustable leg. The diameter of the adjustable leg may vary depending on the used profile 40x80 or 45x90. After setting, we recommend leveling the entire table with a laser level.
